Chemical blending. Where TCES started.
Trailer-mounted, dual-tank blending units built for coiled tubing and workover jobs, with backup motors and dual filtration so the fluid keeps coming.

What chemical blending does
Coiled tubing and workover jobs need fluids mixed on location to a recipe: friction reducers, gels and sweeps that carry cuttings and debris out of the well. A blending unit mixes chemicals into water and keeps a steady supply going to the pumps.
Mixing plants were the first business TCES ran, and that experience is built into today’s trailer-mounted units.
How the job runs
Step by step.
- 1
Set the unit
The trailer-mounted blender is positioned and tied in to water and pumps.
- 2
Mix to recipe
Chemicals are blended in the active tank to the job’s design.
- 3
Stage sweeps
Sweep fluid is held ready in the separate sweep tank.
- 4
Filter and transfer
Dual filtration and transfer pumps move clean fluid where it is needed.
- 5
Keep it running
Dual motors give backup so a single failure does not stop the job.

FAQ
Chemical blending questions.
What is a sweep tank for?
A sweep is a batch of fluid pumped to carry cuttings and debris out of the wellbore. A separate sweep tank keeps it mixed and ready without interrupting the main fluid.
Why dual motors?
Redundancy. If one motor has a problem, the second keeps the unit blending, so the coil or workover job keeps going.
Which jobs do your blenders support?
Our units are built to support coiled tubing and workover operations.
