Frac stacks. Protect the wellhead.
Supplied and serviced to take the pressure and abrasion of the frac, so your production wellhead doesn’t have to. Every unit inspected and certified before it goes out.

What a frac stack does
A frac stack (or frac tree) is the assembly of large-bore valves installed on top of the wellhead during hydraulic fracturing. Sand-laden fluid is pumped through it at high pressure and rate.
The stack temporarily replaces the production wellhead while pumping, isolating it from pressure and abrasive wear. When the frac is done, the stack comes off and the well moves on to drill-out and production.
How the job runs
Step by step.
- 1
Inspect and certify
Each unit is inspected and certified under our ISO-compliant quality program.
- 2
Deliver and install
The stack is set on the wellhead and connected.
- 3
Torque and test
Connections are made up and pressure tested before pumping.
- 4
Support the frac
The stack is serviced as needed between stages.
- 5
Remove and return
After the frac, the stack is removed and goes back through inspection.

FAQ
Frac stacks questions.
What is the difference between a frac stack and a wellhead?
The wellhead stays on the well for its life. A frac stack is installed on top only during fracturing, to take the pressure and abrasion of pumping.
Why not frac through the production wellhead?
Sand-laden fluid at high pressure wears valves quickly. A dedicated frac stack protects the production equipment the well will rely on for years.
How are your stacks certified?
Each unit is personally inspected and certified under a strict ISO-compliant quality assurance program before it goes out.
